Sneak peak or sneak peek?
You want to give your clients a preview of an exciting new service or product, so make sure you're offering them the right thing!
The mistake that people make with this phrase is thinking that because the words rhyme then the spelling must be pretty much the same.
This isn't the case, but that's why we end up seeing SNEAK PEAK so often.
I don't know about you, but that makes me think of mountains tiptoeing up behind me!
The correct spelling is SNEAK PEEK.
A PEAK is a mountain and a PEEK is a quick look.
'But, Denise!', I hear you shout, 'We need a tip to help us remember that!'
Luckily, I've got just the thing for you. Here's one I made earlier!
So when you want to give someone a quick look at a new product, or show them behind the scenes of your business, remember you're giving them a PEEK with their EYES!
Was that useful? Let me know in the comments if you think that this will help you to remember the correct spelling!
